Has anyone gathered enough of the collectibles in the shroud to turn them in and get anything? If not becuase they're bugged or whatever let's get a fix on this.

Right now, I think these Shroud collectables are more a joke than anything else. It's not the person who picks the collectable who get the quest advance, but the person who got the final blow on the portal. If I pick up a portal fragment (that means I must have talked to the npc granting the quest) and I didn't land the final blow, the person who got that final blow will get his quest advance, same thing if I get the final blow and someone else pick it. I think it's a stupid implementation and should be reconsidered. My main character have 15 official collectables (I have 15 in my quest advance) but I picked a lot more than 15 (I think I probably have over 60 if not 80 in my inventory).
There's 4 collectables types, the portal fragments, which we can find in part 1, the healing totems, which we can find in part 4. These are even worse because most of the times, only the casters get to kill these gnolls and you rarely want your melees to spend time to kill the gnolls when you have casters with mana to just fod/pk them, and even less your clerics, their mana have to be used for the group bashing on Harry. The last 2, blade storm fragments and infernal pacts, I've never seen any of those, in any part of the Shroud, and I've also never heard of anyone who saw one of those.
I think they should remove the "on kill" part for these collectables, and once a portal or a gnoll drops a bag, it should be one chance on total players in the party to get one. There's also a fifth collectable in the Shroud, Ortons armors which never give anything of interest when we click those. This is a proof of wasted dev time, because nobody is able to benefit on any way from these collectables things, they really should fix and rework the entire system.

Shroud collectables are a conspiracy by the Illuminati.
That is all.
