I think DDO needs more fans, how about you?
I think it would be cool to see about 300 to 500 Fans of DDO on facebook by the end of the weekend. Might help with the advertising and attracting new players. But you never know.

me joining up would send a false sense of community which I do not participate.
Anyway, I thought blogs did better in advertising short of Myspace...wait, why isn't this a MYSPACE join request?

I think Myspace sucks too. It's half decent for networking amongst musicians. That is all.

Everyone,
I am not advocating that people run out and join Facebook, or any other social or business networking site for that matter, rather I am suggesting that those already on Facebook take the 30 seconds and become a Fan of DDO.
You never know where the next player will come from to join the game by at least we can do is make an attempt to enlarge are ummm "Social Connections" to attract new players.
See you in game.

MySpace makes me feel dirty, but I have fun with Facebook. Gladly added!

What about Twitter (although I'm not really sure what Twitter is).
Since I'm over 30, I value privacy, and am unwilling to post every little detail of my private life on the internet just so my buds can look at pictures of me killing a 40 of Colt 45.

In January, I became a DDO Facebook Fan, I was like number 6 or 7 at the time. I had hoped that one day we could get 1,000 Fans, that would be one heck of a milestone I thought. First we had to get 200, though.
Today there are 7,636 Fans.
My how things change.

No I don't think so. We play the game and that's enough. I don't blog, use Facebook, Twitter, or any such thing. DDO doesn't need myself or my boyfriend griefing things up for them.
