Small question, can you take a racial PrE along with a class PrE? For instance, can you be an elf assasin/arcane archer, or even and elf tempest/arcane archer?

Yes you can take a racial PrE and a class PrE such as the Assassain/Arcane Archer you mentioned. You can also take 2 class PrE such as Assassain/Tempest, as long as you qualify for both.

You can so long as the racial PrE does not also count as one of the class PrE's that you want to take... so no tempest/AA mixes as they are both ranger PrEs.

There should be nothing preventing it as each of the PrE are from a different class.

I am doing the opposite Tempest II / Kensai I on a build.
