Hi i'm Deadz.. well i will be shortly..
right now i have one lvl 5 toon, vaedur, pushing for drow rep..
i'm 31, i have a newborn baby, and i solo ALOT.. i use voicechat to listen , but type w/ my keyboard.. i'm looking for a guild more then likely to have a few people to chat with here and there, and maybe occationally run something, but i'm more windowdressing..
I play heavy some weeks, and hardly at all others.. have returned for the 4th time to DDO just now..5th is the highest i've ever gotten a toon..
Anyone thinks i might be there type of person, let me know..
Also, i am curious how many people are on est hours.
Thanks
Deadz
edited to add: I'm the kinda player who lives in the moment.. i don't have a desire to zerg, or lvl fast.. just enjoy playing.. i will run they style you are, but i perfer the type of groups who like to stay together, and enjoy the adventure. (when i do group)

You might want to browse the stickied guild list thread and see if a guild suits your need.
Btw, looks like you want a +2 Int tome to roll a new char, but you don't have anyone higher than L5... that's a bit ambitious, at this point your best bet is probably to make friends and hope one can give you the tome ;)

Thanks, i been looking, just seeing if there was a guild that was Known as being suited to a player like me, figure the communities opinion is a good place to start..
Also, on that tome, i have saved every penny i have earned, right now i'm between 1.5 and 2MiL gold, and saw a tome for 3.5 the other night, so i'm guessing i'm half way there.. i'm still 44 favor from rolling my drow anyways, and ain't lvl'ing him past 1 till i get my tome! I'm in absolutely no rush...
On the plus side, try number 4 with DDo, and i think i understand and enjoy it the most this time around :)

Welcome to THelanis.
If you haven't found a guild that matches your style, you might try ours. Low key, no drama, and we have several members that play like you do.
Merc's Only.
Anyways, whatever you decide, welcome back and have fun!

I must say, that much money at L5 is actually impressive, congrats :D

Welcome to Thelanis! I'm new too, just ran my first toon to 1750 favor, level 12.
I would advise you hold off on the tome purchase unless you are ABSOLUTELY SURE you're toon is built the way you want. I made alot of mistakes in design from level 1-8 and didn't see why until much later. Would hate to see you drop all that cash on an auction only to discover you want to redo your drow later.
Plus, if you can take your toon to 1750, you new toons start with 32 pts instead of 28.
Then again, I'm new so what do I know? Check with some vets first and see what they say. Thelanis has a very cool community.

The 32 pt bit is off, since we are talking Drow here, but the rest is correct. However, if that is what he wants, he can do whatever he wants with the cash.

That's good advice, at the very least drop your build in the class forums, see what people have to say about it. It's *very* easy to mess up a build when you don't have much experience with the whole character process, from low to high levels.
