+3 Dex Tome..given away

Did a Reaver run with my pally Xondyl earlier.

We kill the Reaver I do the puzzle and now its time to loot.

I open the chest and looky there a +3 Dex Tome....Woot!!

So I quickly look to see if I have it already. Yes I've already used a +3 Dex Tome.

So while the rest of the pary is congradulating me and saying nice pull yada yada.

I say "Don't Leave!!", a moment later I then say"Tome is up for role"

So what looks like just about everyone rolling on the tome a Barbarian(who's name I forget) roles a 100.:D

Grats to the Barbarian who won it.

It was neat being able to give something like that away.

Good run all who were there.:)

These are the kinds of things I love about Khyber. For all it's drama loving...ness....(just go with it!), we really do have some of the friendliest, most helpful, and generous people. Knowing I run with good people is one of the reasons I come back day after day....and night after night....and all those in between times--wait, do I ever sleep anymore? :P

What does Ninja looted mean?

Unless someone said something at the beginning of the raid about how raid loot should be handled, aren't you considered as having already won the "roll" if you were the one who actually pulled it?

giving away raid loot to somebody that really wants it is one of the most rewarding things I've experienced in DDO.

ya, loot you pull is yers to do with as you please. way to put the tome up for roll!! many woulda passed it over to a friend or guildy... and they would be well within their right to do so btw. its still nice to see the fairness you showed.

just last week, i rolled on a +3 str and won, just as the tome was switched to me, someone said another player was rolling. the player had a higher roll and i switched it over. could i ninja it? i could but not my style. there are both fair players and jerks. people remember both

note i said "loot you pull" is yers to do with...not loot that was passed over too quickly. ninjaing that woulda put you in the latter. the original puller of it scooping it up or passing to a friend woulda been fine.

Yeah I quit running reavers onm just about everyone, gave tons of tomes away back when I was though. Grabbed a +3 wis on my cleric and the other cleric almost shat when I just switched it over to him, lol.

If I remember correctly, I rolled a 92, you rolled a 94... long pause and tome was transferred to you.. then that guy rolls a 98.

Yeah, I was in this run (Whirlin), and it did surprise me a bit to hear someone say that it was up for roll.

I appreciate you giving the opportunity.

I even rolled on it, of course getting my standard "Whirlin rolls a 2(1d100)."

Edit:Though I can't whine too loudly, as I did win the roll on the "Head", with a 50 (WOOOT!!!111 High numbers!! For me at least.)

YOU get +3 tomes for 20th reaver runs /envius, they never seamed to show up for me, I've mostly given up on reaver now though i do need more pairs fo booties on a few people still dang it gruf want thats 10th pair to finish the whole hot bar of them... (had to take something for 20th 40th 60th 80th 100th 120th since i never saw a +3 tome on him)....
