You have been booted because you logged into Khyber??

I was running around on Ghallanda after the server restart. When I get an error messege saying "you have been booted because you have logged onto the Khyber server". Now mind you durring the downtime I made a character on Khyber. By no means though did I try to play my character while playing my Ghallanda one. Is this happening to other people, I was worried that somone hacked my account so I changed my login password just in case.

So please if this is happening to anyone who made a new character on another server durring their servers downtime please let me know.

I made a character on Khyber during the downtime, and I am able to log into Sarlona (my home server) with no issues.

i did have the same problem a while ago...

i made my char when sarlona had it's quick restart the other day. and when the server crashed here, i logged into khyber didn't go on my char. even though i should, i pulled a gold coin out of Korthos, and i havn't turned it in.... wouldn't it be swell if i had a L1 char. who pulled a +4 tome :D that'd be priceless :P

anyhow... yeah... same thing happened.

I've had this happen to me before, when Thelanis was down for awhile. I logged into Sarlona, where I have a few unused chars, just to see if it was actually up. Then I logged into Thelanis, played for a little while, when suddenly I get booted with a message that I was logged into Sarlona. I'm not sure of the cause, but it only happened once after some server issues. My guess was that it was the logon servers getting caught up with everything. Unless it keeps happening, I wouldn't worry about it.
