My name is Alex Laflamme, I have a story to say, to help me get my real 2 years old account back that DDo account management Locked because of souspicious activities.My toon names are : Emary Mighty Ox, Ghorax Mighty Ox, Theuf Mighty Ox, Madhmax, Nostraxius Mighty Ox, Spellbox Mighty Ox, Xhee Mighty Ox.. those are some of my alts, some of Ghallanda players may recongnized those names pretty well.
OK, long story short : I dont own a credit card, cant own one. 1 of my friends ( guild leader of The Iron Phalanx, Leloric, leloman, lelothian, lelog...named Trapper for hes real name.) paid for me 1 month of game play with hes credit card. All was going fine, exept that we had to call DDo account management to get the account actually active because it changed credit card. All good still. But when my time was over, i didnt had a way to pay my account before it ended, so DDo account managment suspended my account for non-payment. Still ok. Since i had trouble with my real life, i didnt really care at that point to get my account back, didnt had the cash and time for it..
Couple weeks after all that, I decided to start playing again, so i did try to find some game cards in stores, but couldnt fine any near where i live ( Montreal area). Strange because therse a lot of ppl that cant get a credit card.. but that wasnt too bad, DDo have another way to let players without credit card to play thier game, you can activate it with a game card brought online via Paybycash or get a prepaid credit card.
So, when i tried to write the Code from paybycash on my account, it told me that it couldnt be processed. I was concerned and tried the same Code on my Girlfriend account, and it worked just fine, ( she was suspended for non-payment as well as i am)..
I got a little upset, because its suppose to work just as fine for me no?
So i called DDo account management and tried to understand why i couldnt log in or reactivate my account..
They answered me that, in order to reactivate my account, i had to reactivate it with a valid credit card or a Prepaid credit card. When you buy a prepaid credit card, you dont own it, so no billing info there. So when i tried to rewrite the billing information on my account, it didnt work, because the account management system needs to have billing and credit card address matching...
Ok so prepaid card didnt work for me, and neither the game card from Paybycash..
I called DDO account management many times trying to figure out a way to get my account back..Each time got turn back by them telling me : You dont own that account so we cant let you put a activation code on it, since your account have some souspicious activities....
FUNNY THING IS, I NEVER REPORTED THAT KIND OF ACTIVITIES ON MY ACCOUNT, NEVER. NOBODY TRY TO STEAL IT. THANKS YOU.
So, i tried to get intouch with the guy that paid for me a couple of months ago.. but he doesnt play anymore, and we live near each other, Im from Quebec and hes from Ohio...So theres no way i can get to call him or tell him to call DDo and talk to them or reactivate my account with hes credit card.
SO TO END THIS :
I did brought a prepaid credit card, and brought the game with it 30 days free. I had a pre order account with over 9 alts all over lvl 16 or near it.. With tons of crafted and looted items, for almost 2 and a half years of playing...
So now.. Im asking Anyone that know me, to call Ddo account management, and tell them about my story, to help me out getting back into game with my real account and toons that i miss so much.
