What about the not so commonly uses ingredients?

I know what everyone thinks are the best combinations to strive. But has anyone looked and the possible combinations of the not as often used ingredients .... I have a surplus of petals for examples. Are there some ingredients that are required for everything no matter what? Or are there other possible shroud crafting tier1/2/3 items that might be of some worth?

I think it would be cool if we a tool that would say you could make these things with your current ingredients ... instead of you need x ingredients to make this item.
