If I'm a cleric with wand mastery and I UMD an arcane wand, will I get the bonus damage?

Arcanes with wand mastery get bonus points when they UMD a Heal scroll, so probably it works backwards too.

PS. That is why, paradoxically, sorcerers are better as UMD healers than rogues, even though only rogues get real UMD skill.

And true.

Go figure, why make a rogue if I don't do trap? Here I go Sorcerer!

I would think so. My 1rgr/15wiz gets a boost from wand mastery whenever he uses CSW wands. Not quite the same as UMD, but it does apply to non-arcane wands. It probably goes the other way too.

I have a cleric/sorceror who use both divine and arcane wands and yes...the bonus does seem to affect both types of wands--for the record though, she uses the wands not off UMD but from arcane knowledge.

Actually no...the level of ranger allows him to use any wand a ranger can use --since rangers get cure spells, they can use cure wands - no UMD check.

But after I thought some more...my Sorc can use cure wands via UMD and she DOES get the bonus to their effectiveness.
