Just wanted to introduce myself to you all quickly since I have started playing again after about 1 1/2 years away. I left this game before because my play time is limited and I often had trouble finding groups. Running aorund the marketplace for 2 hours is no fun... However, I just need to compliment this server and say that I've had nothing but a blast getting my bard to lv 4 so far. I'm have a lot of experience in MMOs and can say that thus far, getting to level 4 has been 99% great PUGS and ever better people. I think I'm here to stay this time! This being the case, I'm curious about a couple things.
1. What are the least played classes on this server besides cleric? I'd love to raid again eventaully now that there is more than one raid to run, so I'm curious as to what classes are in demand.
2. I'm going straight bard as of right now, and focusing on support (healing, best songs possible, etc..) and am wondering if it would be a better idea to dual class. If I should dual class to be effective at high lvs, what class should I take on?
3. Lastly, are their any guilds looking for bards right now? I'm having fun leveling and am hoping to find a guild of people around my lv who have aspirations of raiding in the future. I don't want to get to lv 16 and then just roll another character, but since I'm lv 4, I also don't want to join some huge guild with 30 decked out people who have run every raid 10k times already. Anyone out there?
Thanks for reading since I'm sure some born again noob's questions dont amount to **** for most of you, and I hope to meet lots of you in game.

The flavor of the day changes from mod to mod, but you've picked a good class in Bard. If you look into the War Chanter specialty you will be particularily in demand. 1 War Chanter per raid is pretty much as important as a cleric for getting the party DPS up and providing a little additional healing/buffing or melee.
Either stay pure, or take 1 level in a fighter/barbarian class to gain additional weapon proficiencies (you can also do that by spell if you don't take a level). There are special enhancements for staying pure to 20 so you may want to stay pure until we hear what the Bard one will be like.
Maximize your UMD, its one of the greatest assets of a bard as it lets you use any scroll or wand or item in the game.
As for guilds, my best advice is to keep pugging and pay close attention to the guild tags you run with. When you find people who have playstyles that you like, ask them about running with them more or joining their guild.

Welcome back Jelton!
You'll be pleased to find a more complete game as compared to a year and half ago.
There aren't really any shunned classes, these days. Well maybe Monk. If you dual class, keep in mind the new prestige enhancements have tiers at levels 6, 12 and 18.

Welcome, Glad you decided to come back. Everybody loves a bard you'll be fine.
PS. Warchanters are especially awesome.

Thanks for the advise so far folks! I'm going to assume that a warchanter bard is one that has all of the song buffs maxed out and thats what I'm going for. I'm spending just about every action point I get on song buffs. Going with spell buffs as well since I know a healer is always as good as gold. Appreciate the help and you guys are right, the game is much more complete and seems to have a decent population compared to when I played. The harbor is full of people my lv and i have to admit, I've always liked this game a heck of a lot more than WOW so its ncie to have a reason to stick with it!
