hi newb question

hi this might sound a bit vain but is there any way when not in combat to put my sheild or wep on my back instead of runing around with both of them in my hands lol sorry! i think in most games there is a sheath wep button does this have one or a /comand

EDIT i have found the /sheathe comand but that makes my wepeons disapear completely. is there a way so i can walk around not in combat with my shield on my back?

Negative. It's either sheath and not be seen or run around with the weapons/shield out. Also if you swing once while your gear is sheathed it reappears.

I'm not sure if this is exactly what you want, but it may help:

You can use an empty weapon set slot from your character inventory screen. Drag one of the green empty slots to a hotbar. When you click that you will put your shield and weapons away.

Just make sure that you also hotbar other, full weapon combos, so you have access to the weapons you will need immediately.

This is handy, for example, when you want to attack slimes without wrecking your weapons, you can put them away and punch, then re-equip weapons.
