advice on crafting light repeater.

first of all I want to ask how many greensteal items can you equip on your toon at once? 2 weapons if performed cleansing ritual? can I have greensteel googles and greensteal belt on? Or just one piece of equipment and one weapon?

secondly I rolled a repeater build - light because I really don't see the difference in going heavy for the extra 2 points of damage, and would rather stick to light as I find they are cheaper in the AH.

I already have banisher,disrupter,smiter,paralyzer, and wounder.

i'm using my capped Sorcy to farm ingredients.

i'm looking for advice on what would be a good combo to make into a light repeater.
was thinking pos-pos-pos because holy and good dmg affect 95% or so of the mobs in the game, but I would like to hear arguments about going min, or lit. or fire and why they would rock for a repeater.

What can you tell us about the build that will be using this weapon? That makes a big difference in what suggestions people will make.

Items are the only things that need to be cleansed. You can have your "gs belt" and a gs repeater without cleansing.

I recomend going with Lightning 2 repeater. It works on most things and lets face it, you are not going to be dpsing anything. Lightning 2 would help your group out a little if you run out of mana.

build is pure rogue.. with rapid shot, rapid reload, precise shot, improved crit ranged, and improved precise shot.

I was leaning towards a pos-pos-pos with wands of flame arrow.

holy+good+pierce+flame on every arrow fired.

then you would have sneak attack damage and good blast and good burst (sometimes)

you don't think I would be major dps?

I think a greensteel repeater doing all that elemental damage and hitting things 10 times before it even gets near you would be SICK damage.

and no one can comment about how well a properly built repeater rogue could do with a tier III repeating xbow in his hands unless you went and crafted one and fed it all the upgrades.

that being said, i'd like arguments for mineral xbow

Are you building for bosses or trash?

You won't need a mineral as you can get bolts to bypass most any DR.

If you want it for trash, consider Radiance2, if you find yourself within sneak range. Rad2 will maximize your SA damage.

If you are mostly outside range, you may consider earth grab or freezing.

For boss dps, lightning is nice. Also you can make a teir two pos-pos repeater to check it out without using any larges.
