Best coinfarming locales? difficulty matter?

I think Irestone Inlet hasn't seen this much activity since last Festivus!

I can solo it on elite in 13 minutes, so about 7-10 chests in 13 minutes. probably get a gold coin 50% every run on the average.

What other good places to get coins?

6-7 chests 7 minutes and i dont think difficulty matters but i still run elite anyways just in case

I just did the Wavecrest (new) quest, 5 runs, not one coin. Very strange.

Irestone seems the best.

I don't believe level of quest or difficulty setting affects the quantity or quality of coin drops. Irestone on norm has always given me the best coin return for time invested. The golds are nice but it's not all about them. My monk loves the Titan cookies from coppers and my post-festivault lowbie characters are gonna be living off cupcakes, Velah cookies and candy canes until next Thanksgiving. Nom nom nom...

But I've been lookin for a #2 ransack locale as all my guys are irestone-sacked until the end of Sunday. Forgot all about Redwillow. Thanks for the suggestions.

Now I just have to find a good excuse to get out of this last family x-mas today to get back home.

Me and the BF were alternating Irestone and Ringleader (lots of orange named and extra chests)

My second location is durks. Three minutes and chance for muckbane. Average about two muckbanes per toon per ten runs. Times twelve toons equals 24 muckbanes every week at about 7500 plat per club. Takes a good solid day or two, or spread it around the seven till irestone ransack up. Either works.

Tear of Dhakaan. About 6-8 chests. Some decent named item drops in there too.

Durk's - up to 8 chests (if all names pop and you can get the door unlocked not to mention Muckbane)

Butcher's Path - up to 7 chests (need good INT and STR for kobold's hidden treasure)

Kobold's New Ringleader - up to 8 chests (if all names pop)

Irestone Inlet - up to 10 chests (I think - if all names pop)

Redwillow's Ruins - up to 10 chests (if all names pop)

Tear of Dahkan (sp?) - up to 10 chests (if all names pop)

Prison of the Planes - up to 7 chests I think (been awhile)

Havent seen much drop in the korthos area - several runs VERY few collectables or coins. Only place I've managed to get a collectable from is the arcane skellie in Sacrifices (formerly known as Sewer Rescue). Other than that I say try the various explorer areas, preferably the ones with high rare encounter counts. I hope your luck is better than mine :D

I tried all of these locations, but it seems to me like the most coins drop in Irestone. Even if other adventures have more chests/minute, the Irestone chests seem to drop coins more staedily.

Just my observation, no data to support this, but I will begin collecting it tonight.

i agree, i'm on my third ransacking of 12 toons. by far the most consistent. i find i usually get 110/20/4 +/- a few per character after 10-12 runs.

I was running favor runs with a guildy the other night. I ended up pulling 2 gold coins out of Garrisons Missing Pack on elite with my lvl 13 bard.

I agree with Irestone, Redwillows, and Ringleader.....but doing vale runs can give you alot of chances at chests with better loot, low level ingredients, and you might even get some xp out of your time.
