Authentication error

Tried logging in 3 times now, all 3 times same thing. I get to the Module 8 loading screen and it says "loading new data" for like 10-15sec. Then it boots me and says, "An authentification error occured. Please try logging in again". Can someone help me, just came back after about 10months away and have had no problems logging in till today. Thanks in advance for any help.

i'm getting it too. it isn't something that's come up due to your absence. It's something that's come up in the past few minutes.

It is a problem many are experiencing.. including me. Trying to log BACK on to Thelanis - so I know the servers are up.

Authentication Error... BS! I just logged off.... accidentally... :(

ohhh noooo been gone from the game for a week and i was ready to get back on and heads were gonna roll. i could feel the vorpals warmed up. now i cant get on, tear. now heads are gonna roll let me at em :P

Looks like the Log-On Server is being rebooted now. :D

So at 6:20, someone posted about this, so safe to figure it started around 6:15 - at 6:40, Turbine is aware of the issue and working to resolve it. Thats good news.

... though it doesn't look like the reboot worked and Khyber is now showing a red x....

I'm having a similar issue. Gets to the log in screen and hangs up. Shows it is getting data at .01kb/sec. Bummer

Ever get the feeling that someone is working AT Turbine who doesn't actually work FOR Turbine?

Now it will let me load into servers that I dont play on, but not Argo?? Have tried all the other servers, where I dont have any characters, loads up fine and fast. While trying to use mine and log in, Ive tried 4 times in a row here and it just uses up all 20 attempts to connect to server then it boots me. Dont get it and frustrated

I just downloaded the trial and was going to start to play DDO when I got this error. What a first impression.

i was having same problem. took me a few times, but eventually got in. i have had this happen a few times before. when i went to reboot my comp each time, there was a program not responding. not ddo.....for me, it was my symantic. it was telling me i had missing virus deffinitions. dont know if there is any correlation to programs not responding or not.

And here.. cant log into Khyber, however can log into other servers. It counts me down from 1 to 20 then kicks me if I try loading into Khyber.

It tells me its searching for logon servers...
