I made a green steel b sword and upgraded it triple acid and Mineral II. After the upgrade the item changed to a +5 Supreme Tyrant Green Steel Longsword of Earth in the pop-up description.
Is this a bug or intended?

it shrinks when you wash it in acid. If you keep washing it, it will turn into a short sword then a dagger.

Too funny....
Also, btw, the stats for damage and crits are what are expected for a B Sword so I guess the name is just bugged.

Actually, it has the stats of a GS Longsword - it should have gone up to 2d8 base damage IIRC like the Dwarven Axe & Maul do. Longswords (and other 1d8 weapons) go up to 1d10.

Wow... that ****ing blows.
I can't believe you're handling it so well, OP. I want to puke every time I enter the shroud, and I only have three fully upgraded GS items across all characters. I can't imagine how uncool it would be to have that happen.

Do you happen to have a pic of the weapon when it was upgraded to tier 2?

No, and other B swords I have in my pack have the same damage and crit stats. Longswords I have are 1d8.

greensteel weapons have increased damage dice
a greensteel longsword or khopesh is 1d10, a bastard sword or dwarven axe is 2d8.
is it possible you made the wrong base weapon and didn't ever notice?

No, I carried that thing around for a LONG time, even used it in battle before I upgraded it.

Just looking at the screen shot you have, the pic of your "B-sword" is the same as the pic of the longsword I have on my halfling pally. It has longsword stats, a longsword pic, so its a longsword. I bet when you hold it it looks like a green drippy sirroco also. Personaly, I think you made a gs longsword and looked at the stats and said, ok thats what a b-sword stats are and assumed that you had made a b-sword. The only way you could dispute this is if you have a screen shot of your sword at t2 or t1 upgrade.

I am making another one and am going to follow the same recipe. DOCUMENTING the process. I'll report back. It may take a while, grinding for ingredients is tedious...LOL.

lucky (?) for you at least it wasn't a dual shard upgrade

Might want to post your recipe here before doing it ;) Although a bug is still possible, it's the very first time I hear about it, so it seems most likely that you crafted a longsword by mistake. The two recipes are really different though so it seems weird.
