what does this error mean

When accessing my account, I receive the following message:

"General Error accessing your account information. Try again later, and contact tech support if the problem persists."

I have 9 days left on my subscription. Is this normal or should I contact tech support?

This isn't affecting only trial accounts. I've been a subscriber for almost two years now, and I am receiving the exact same message: "General Error accessing your account information. Try again later, and contact tech support if the problem persists."

Well, the problem persists. Does someone from Turbine have any recommendations?

i just got the exact same message, i was stuck on a loading screen so i force quit and now i cant get back on

Me too, I just go tthe error. I was actually switching to my cleric and I got a message saying " your character could not be saved"

Than when I try to log in to the game I get the same message these guys are getting.
Logged on the forums to post this error and notice that someone else has this problem too.
