Does the place of the ruin you pick from the list have any eefect in the outcome?? I have only traded in once....

think he's asking if the first choice in the list will always give the same effect, the second the same, and so on. Thus eventually a list could be compiled and you could actually trade in and buy the effect you want.

There is another thread in the crafting forum that was testing this and found that it's completely random, the same rune from the list doesn't always give the same result.

One way to know is count how many rune choices you have. If it is LESS than the number of confirmed effects for that rune, then chances are each time you turn them in you get a random assortment of X number of runes. If they match exactly, then you probably get the whole list. If you get more, then chances are you are looking at an incomplete list (or the troubling possibility of doubles appearing exists)

Even if you get the whole list though, people have reported that their number 1 rune (for example) gives a different result than some other person's number 1 rune. This means either they are randomly mixed, or perhaps that each character (or account) has a set rune list so that an individual can eventually get their wanted rune, but cannot help others get their specific one any faster.
