View Full Version : Handwraps still broken... two simple questions.

Handwraps are still broken in several ways. It goes much further than what is listed in the Known Issues section.

For example:
1. You can often find +1 holy burst handwraps ML 10 (wrong ML)
2. Weighted does not add to Stunning Blow (or stunning fist for that matter)
3. Weakening or Enfeebling not being correctly applied (not sure if it's the weaken or enfeeble though)
4. Never seen Transmuting handwraps... ever

Just to name a few problems I've seen, and I can provide further documentation if it would help these fixes.

Q1: When will these problems with handwraps get fixed?

Q2: When will greensteel handwraps be added to the game?

How is that the wrong ML?

A +1 Holy Burst Weapon is ML 8.
A +2 should be ML 10.

I've also gotten +1 Disrupting Handwraps ML12

Kraldor, your right it should have read +1 holy burst handwraps ML10, unfortunately I cannot find them on the AH anymore (edited OP). I did however collect a current list of several incorrect MLs for handwraps. They typically have a ML one step higher than they are supposed to.

These have the wrong ML:

This has the correct ML, but the number in the upper right corner is incorrect and at the bottom it says greater GNOLL bane.

This was just from a quick 2 minute scan on Sarlona AH, so obviously the ML problem may be more widespread. Again, ML is just one facet of the handwrap bugs. The other bugs I mentioned are more of a problem in my opinion.

Its just one Greater Bane. they just split up the effect. ya know one is +4 vrs a Mob and the other +3d6 vrs the mob

On a similar Monk note, please fix these important abilities ASAP.

Restoring the Balance
Rise of the Phoenix
Difficulty at the beginning
The Receptive Earth
Lifting the Veil.

It really sucks not being able to rez clerics when they go splat, or cure that fighter of curse.

I've pulled similar hand wraps out of the giant hold, i had +2 frost handwraps that were minimum level 10, but i think it goes back to the issue they were having with robes a while back where it was trying to add an ability that didn't belong on the item, so the min level was increased but the ability never showed up

My favorite was a picture somebody else posted a while back. I forget the exact specifics, but it was something like +1 Handwraps, ML 12, worth whatever ML 12 items usually are (50-98k).

Not intending to hijack, but there is really NO reason any level 16 cleric shouldnt have DEATH PACT on at all times now.

The problem is, I am thinking, the coding for the added effects are not translating to HWs the way they do to other weapons, thus the Grtr bane, or pure good, or transmuting, etc... is just not applied correctly. Just a guess really.
