Is the new spells Pro from elements and Pro from Elements, mass unable to be extended? Usually it makes no sense to extend these in the first place, but I still thought to pose the question if it was implemented as intended.

Uhh, you do know it still uses the mana for extend, just not extending, right?

I'd prefer they change it to neither extend the spell nor charge extra SP when these spells are cast with Extend on (toggling it on and off can be a pest). But I'd still be OK with it lasting twice as long & costing 10 more SP. Current situation is the worst of both worlds.

I would have thought that a fresh cast would replace your 2 points of protection with 120... is there a reason for it not to work this way?

The Sorcerer version of this spell also has a longer cool down than wizard/cleric versions (for both the plain and mass version)

It's because currently, spells are refreshed based off of duration, not ablative effect power. So unless you Extend it again, it won't overwrite the old spell since the duration is longer.

Yeah, unless you don't have extend.

The same thing occurs with stone skin and all other durability spells.

I hear you on that one. At least that has been acknowledged as a bug. Maybe it will be fixed in a few months.
