First off let me make it clear I know how to get things on my end running, so my 'issue' is not a local one.

That being said, recalling back the first month of the game it seemed the voice comm worked great. I played then for a month or so and left or a while to come back and find, as I recall, it worked well then. But of late, after more time away and coming back, starting with the monk MOD timeframe (the time before now that I last came back to the game) voice com has been terrible. I know much of it may be people with bad mics or other issues but that cannot explain how consistently, as I said from my return around monk MOD time to my recent return with MOD 8, how consistently I find that voice com is nearly unusable due to the consistency of many or most party members being unaudible (low volume typically).

My question is if this is a know issue, has voice com just degraded and become unreliable of late? Or is there something else, perhaps something client side that can be tweaked? It would be nice if there was an in game slider to adjust incoming voices higher or lower but maybe there is an ini setting somewhere?

I have only been playing this game for a few weeks (excluding beta), and I find that a vast majority of voices, I basically cannot hear well enough to understand what people say. This means I end up resorting to keyboard comms. This is OK for goofing around, but when I need to yell "TRAP" - typing is, sadly, too slowe.

Yeah - I agree - basically voice in the game is not useless which totally breaks the game
