Running Enter the Kobold and someone drops down final hole only to be stuck floating between boulders. So, they need to DD out then run all the way through, navigate the puzzle, etc. while our buffs are burning. Give us a 10' rope that when used on a nearby stuck person will "Dim Door" them to the person that tossed it. Make it so it can't be used through barriers (gates, doors, force fields, etc.) Less stuck spot fixing for devs, no more waiting for GM response, and actually kinda works in the game role-playing wise.
Please?

Everquest implemented a fix for getting stuck in geometry. You could type /rewind and would get moved back to your most recent location before the current. Something like that probably could work here as well.

Make mine a bullwhip so I can use it as a weapon too, ala Indie :D:p:D

Nah. I'd prefer an 11 foot pole. After all..."it goes to 11."

Yeah, never go on an adventure withouta 10ft pole, 50ft rope, a throwing hook, a crowbar, a folding spade, a light pick, a saw, a hammer and 1 pound of different nails.

Too easily abused.

a lot of times, using grease on someone helps them slide out a bit...sometimes that works.
you can also bring the mobs to the person let them hero it...then when the hero finally buys it, just bring their stone out of range.

I would not touch this with a 10 (or 11) foot pole....
Come on - someone had to do it

I think a command like EQ and many games have would be the best option. The rope would have a cool factor though.

Doesn't even have to be a 10 ft. thing, many times just being able to nudge someone would break them out.
How about a /lendahand emote that pulls the recipient onto your location? Hard to abuse it since where you're standing should be safe.
