sound problems

ever since i downloaded mod 8 the sound in for the background music in ddo has been really loud and I can't adjust the volume for it. Even if I put the music volume to 0 I can still hear it, also when i go for having ddo targeted to another thing such as internet explorer or microsoft word it make this wierd noise. Anyone know how to fix this?

I have no clue what that means lol but ty for responding, nout 20min ago after messing w/ the settings i fixed it, i guess the settings got changed cua of the new mod cuz idk how it got so wierd but yeah its fixed

go to audio settings and rather than hardware pick software... that should help.. several people I know had it turned to Hardware and Software fixed it for them
