10-Base
7-Heavy Steel Shield
0-Robe
10-Dex Bonus
1-Dodge
3-Aura of good+Enhancement
5-Combat Expertise
2-Active Block
2-Defensive Fighting
4-Uncanny Dodge
7-+7 Armor Bracers
----------
41-----Buffed with defense and w/o pots
1-Haste
3-Shield of Faith
3-Barkskin pot

Saves:
Fort=25 W/ +6 Con Item
Ref=22 W/ +6 Dex item
Will=18 W/ +6 Cha Item

The build is fairly solid in my mind, able to dish out massive amounts of crits. A W/P or a W/E would play great with this build.
I also started this build with a full set of +1 tomes, you really only want the +1 Intell for the skills.
Remember, this guy can do traps as well, hes a wandwipping, trap wuppin, ok AC hiding, Stat damaging halfling.

If i could ask anyone to try this build out, and give me reports each level. I cant play at the moment, family agrro.

PS. this toon uses rapiers/SS

Hes not suspossed to be a main dps, but a stat damager, a cursespewer.
The guy that sneaks in behind the back and hamstrings the guy, or destructs the guy.

In high level content, you will not be able to bypass the DR well enough to do prefix stat damage.

In any long quest, you are going to become encumbered at the first chest. I had a bard with 6 str once upon a time that was almost impossible to play because of the encumberance.

with the 15 str in the end, you are fairly good.
And the DR, i pick up an addy wounding rapier and your good.

unless you come up with some numbers supporting the 15 strength viability I would have to agree with Samadhi. And its just going to get worse as the level cap increases.

The true question is, where would i get the points?

By lowering intelligence and charisma. Currently you're crazy-high on them. You need enough str to eventually get Power Attack, which means 10 base + 3 tome.

Oh btw: Power Critical and Mobility are both worthless, and Toughness is low-value. Anyone whose dex allows it should try to get TWF, and dropping those 3 feats would let you do exactly that.

I dont know if you already planed for it, cant see it by the data given, but this build definetly needs Intimidate.

All your high AC and great Saves wont be of any real use, if you will never draw aggro from the monsters. If you have a great defence, you must bring it into play. If your Defence is never tried, its as good as if it didnt exist.
It doesnt matter if your AC is 16 or 61, when all the monsters still prefer to whack your groups AC 22 Barbarian.

And you should also raise your STR, preferably by lowering INT and CHA by 1 point each and putting that into STR. You will have problems penetrating DR otherwise, besides the encumberance.

Just by dropping Charisma to a 14 starting, you can add +2 to your Strength. Add in 1 from your Intelligence and you've got a 10 starting Strength, which gives you a 19 Strength. That's a little better, though still on the low side. Outside of your starting ability scores:

Why 4 levels of Rogue?

I'm guessing it's to max out your skills, but is there any other reason (maybe Rogue Skill Boost II?) to do it? I'm asking because I have a somewhat similar build (7 Paladin/7 Fighter/ 2 Rogue) that is a Sword and Board. Granted, I only worry about Open Locks and Use Magic Device, but you can sacrifice some other skills in order to get Search and Disable Device up as well, along with judicious use of when to take Rogue levels. I miss out on 1d6 sneak attack, but I think the extra Paladin abilities counteract that. Unless you plan on taking more Paladin levels after the level cap increase (8 Fighter/7 Paladin/5 Rogue), I'd either pick Rogue and stop after 2 (maybe 3), or pick Paladin and stop after level 3.

Should you pick up the Quick Draw feat?

It looks like you're aiming later to be a Two-weapon Fighter (at least marginally) later on, but barring picking up Mobility and Spring Attack, have you thought about picking up Quick Draw and Stunning Blow? Basically anything that you can use a Wounding of Puncturing on can be Stunned, so I figured that being able to Stun something would certainly come in handy. Especially given how easily the Tenderizer drops from the Reaver Raid. You'd still need a little more Strength (maybe starting at 12 would be good enough) to reliably Stun things, but being able to quickly switch to another weapon and deal ability damage to a Stunned monster could be invaluable.

The main question you need to ask yourself is "why". What is the purpose of your sword and board character. Now, once you have the why, see if other non sword and board builds can't accomplish the same while giving you more.

Currently, the ONLY reason I can think of to go sword and board is to get really high DR while intimidating, because simply put, a dual wielder can get a higher AC than you can.

With that in mind, consider a dwarven fighter with all the shield blocking DR enhancements, with a decent dex (say 20 @ lvl 16 so you can get the max AC from the best DR tower shield out there, the one from hound, and +5 MFP like the one from VoD), decent to good strength, intelligence of 12 so you can get combat expertise with a +1 tome, and specializing in tactical feats (stunning blow, trip, perhaps even sap) as well as maybe cleave and great cleave for vorpaling while intimidating.

Also, don't dump charisma too much because you want to be able to get a high intimidate. Whether you stay a pure fighter or go with 2-3 levels of paladin, well you can decide that later. I'd wait to multiclass until the new fighter PrCs specific bonuses and requirements are announced - the equivalent to the dwarven defender sounds like it may be right up this alley.
