So the time is drawing near when I will have to choose which Items to craft for my quarterstaff specialist. Acrobat II strength based rouge/monk halfling. Power attack, cleaves, thf :)

Obviously Crits are a 10% proc rate

So I have already determined tier 3 will be +4 ac

This will place him at a 51 ac unbuffed (without icy raiments)

The only questions are.

Holy good burst

Mineral II

Lightning

Radiance

3x Acid

I already have a +5 transmuting pg staff to use but I would loose the ac boost when I need it most. So I would like to make a xmuter. Even tho its not mandatory.

Lightning has the neat factor especially with how many times ill be swinging. (+30% perm alacrity + 30% rouge haste + 25% haste + 20% madstone)

Holy Good burst has that constant dps and hits 90% of the game.

Radiance would give a 10% chance to wreck an opponent with the 75+ pts of sneak damage on every following swing.

They all have their good points.

Opinions?

Alacricity doenst stack with haste.

Radiance is a bit of a waste on a staff.

Agreed. I would also be a bit wary of putting a lot of large ingredients into a staff that has effects upon crits like the Holy-Good Burst.

The Lightning II is nice now but with the new MOD rolling out we may encounter a lot of lightning immune creatures, someone from Risia or who knows a little more of the new content may be able to confirm this. I would suggest at the moment doing Lightning or Mineral but before you commit some research into the next MOD or just plum waiting will probably serve you pretty well and help guide your choice so as to make a more useful staff.

When hasted the monk air stance will go to 3.5%

And yes the other 20% alacrity from acrobat II does indeed stack with haste, just like the tempest boosts.

Aye I was kind of feeling that myself, and I just picked up a staff that solved a bit of the problem for me, so I won't need to do much just yet anyway.

+5 holy pure good staff should rock in the vale, as will a +5 transmuting pg.

Ill just bit -4 to my target ac until the solution presents itself.

A bit, but not too bad its a 10% chance to cause auto sneak attacks on a target, and does 2d6 holy and 1d6 fire damage, regularly, the crits would just be Icing...

Dunno yet... :)
