Door to the marketplace bank

I have recently noticed that there are apparently two different versions of the doorway to the marketplace bank. The first is a 5 sided doorway, that looks like a rectangle with a pointed top. the second is a seven sided doorway, that is square at the bottom, begins to taper about halfway, then has the pointed top.

What's odd is that they switch back and forth, depending on the distance and angle I am from the bank when viewing it. To see it very clearly, do the following. Stand on the black lines where they intersect outside the bank. Scroll your view ALL the way out. move slowly toward the door, watching the frame.

I don't know if this belongs here, or somewhere else. If I posted this in the wrong place, I apologize.

I have also noticed this in the end of VON 5 with the big guy. If you are walking around before the fight begins you will notice 2 different versions of him standing there.

This I'm fairly sure has to do with graphic quality. As your camera moves further from objects, it's geometry is gradually scaled back making less complex objects in the background. If you set your graphic settings higher, this scaling will become less noticeable.

This is why you see two different doors. It's not really two different doors, just the same doors with different levels of detail.

No, that's not it at all. The door completely changes shape. One version has straight sider with a ^ top, while the other only has straight sides about halfway up, then angles like / and \ with a ^ on top.Sort of like:

Pardon the hideous graphics, but that sort of sums it up.
