gamecards via credit card?

Is it possible to purchase game time codes by credit card, instead of PayByCash method that takes 8 working days to go thru( actually still waiting). I want to give a friend a gift, but don't want to have to give the friend my card or have to sit on a long distance phone call to give a gift. :confused:

As described in this blurb (http://turbine.fuzeqna.com/ddo.support/consumer/kbdetail.asp?kbid=1552), you can apparently use your own credit card to make a 3-month payment on someone else's account.

If you'd like to give Account Management a call, they would definitely be able to process a gift payment for you.

Yeha, I have spent 30 minutes looking for a way to buy a gamecard by credit card, and still cant find a way.

I will be cancelling my current card before next month when the renewal date is up, and want to buy a longer card...but there is no option.

I will try calling account management tomorrow...but really? You cant purchase a gamecard with a credit card on Turbine's website? Is there a reason Turbine does NOT want to take instant payments?
