So I kicked up a new build just for a bit of fun, without a lot of planning, and with quite a bit of beer. So I need a bit of advice, as I've completely forgotten where I was wanting to go with this character, and can't really work out where I can go :p
Current build is as follows. I think. Off the top of my head
Drow Sorc/Pal/Rogue 2/2/2.
Stats, including whatever gear I'm wearing and enhancements I have. Not that I recall what they are >.>
STR: 12
DEX: 20
CON: 8
INT: 14
WIS: 8
CHA: 21
Saves:
Fort: 9
Reflex: 18
Will: 15
AC is 27 or something, rocking a +2 Mithral Breastplate of some sort of extra flashy thing or other, and a +2 Mithral light shield. I also have a bar or two stacked wtih rapiers and short swords and bows of various kinds depending on the situation.
Feats:
Nimble Fingers
Weapon Finesse
Force of Personality
Spells taken:
- Charm Person
- Hypnotism
So currently, all useful rogue skills are maxed. Plus, packing a few stacks of +5 thieves tools helps.
Right now, this build is hella fun to play. I can hypno pretty much anything, and if I can't, I can charm something else and make it kill the thing I can't charm. Or I can hypno half and charm the other and dance about while they all sort it out. Or hypno everything and pick them all off one by one. Traps can't touch me, but I can touch traps!
I don't plan on taking more Paladin levels. I have a funny feeling I'm a tad too squishy. But then...I'm not really sure. I rather like the idea of having a few spells at my disposal, but then...hypnotism with 2 levels of sorc might not help that much. Rogue skills I want to keep maxed out, and thus far the combat style I've been playing with this character is pretty much roll in, sneak attack till I get aggro, roll out, roll in, rinse and repeat. I'd rather like to stay that way
It's just...I can't work out where to go from here, or indeed whether this character's going to be practical in a level or two. Help!
And if your solution is "Reroll", then at least provide some suggestions that kind of keep within the spirit of the build :p
