Favored enemy question

This has probably been asked before but i have never really had the time or shards to test it but does ne 1 know, if u take favored enemy evil outsider, and favored enemy lawful outsider if the enhancements for favored enemies would stack if u were fighting a lawful evil outsider?

for example if u have favored enemy defense 2 and say was up against an orthon in the shroud would u get 4 ac towards it or just the 2?

No, they do not stack. This is why rangers take evil outsider only and don't also choose lawful and chaotic outsider. Evil outsider covers nearly (read: mephits) all of them.
