Max healing

Ok looking for some hlep on maxing out healing.
I have a level 16 cleric that can pretty much handle any quest and any type of group.( healed the intim. tank WF in vision with no prob.)
here my question?
i hear ppl talking about 1200 point heals.. ive only seen my best heal at about 600. now i know this should handle just about any toon in the game but i cant figure out where my enhancements or feats went wrong to get these uber heals.. ive tried everything i can think of as far as boosting my heals.. empowered healing, spell potency items etc..
any ideas???
i maxed my healing enhancements as much as i could or i think i did. i did max my wisdon but i think my base cha is only 12 . could this be part of the cause?

Those 120 point heals are crits. Occasionally, you're hit a spell crit, and your heal with be multiplied by a set variable.

Things that can increase this variable are:
-Cleric Prayers of Light Enhancements
-Gloves from the Storm Reaver
-Any item with Devotion Lore

So, if you work up to get a spell crit multiplier of 2.00 (at least, possible to get higher), you'll hit 1200 point heals.

Has nothing to do with your CHA, or WIS, or any other stat. It's entirely based on your enhancements, gear, and feats. As Lymnus said, it's going to be stuff like:


Empowered Healing (since this works on the Heal spell, this is the key feat)
Cleric's Life Magic (max for this is a 40% boost)
Superior Potency/Devotion 6 item (50% boost, stacks with Life Magic)
Any sort of recovery enhancement or item (Human, Monk, bracers from the Hound raid; these all stack with your cleric stuff since it's on the healee side of things, not the healer side of things)


Now this stuff will boost your crit power, as well as your chances to crit:


Prayer of Incredible Life (max for this increases your crit multiplier to 2.25)
Prayer of Life (max is for a 9% chance for healing to crit)
Reaver Gloves (Superior Healing Lore; stacks with Prayer of Life)
Greenblade/Blue Dragonscale armor (Greater Arcane Lore; stacks with Prayer of Life)


To me it sounds like you've got all the right feats/enhancements for healing power, just nothing to give you a chance (or maybe just a very slim chance) to crit on those heals.

i have incredible prayer and prayer for life.. i think both are maxed but may have one more to take on one of them.
i have the reaver gauntlets and carry a sup. potency 7 item. I understand those big number heals are crits and have tested mine and the highest ive got is 600.
im more curious then worried about this. cant figure out how someone could get it so high.. (one person claimed a 2000pt heal) ill recheck my enhanc. and see if ive maxed out both or the above mentioned ones.

Maybe you're forgetting healing bonuses the target could have.

Levick Bracers = +20%
Mentau Necklace = +10%
Human AP = +30%
Monk AP = +30%

Depending on how it stacks, that's about +90% total. Your regular heal of 15 * 10 * 1.9 * 1.5 = 428 would instead become 812. Put a Heal crit on top of that, and 2k hp is within reach.

Alternatively, Hill Giants can get a +100% racial healing enhancement.

According to my test, the stacking was something similar to this:

+20% [ Levik Bracer (or Shroud Healing AMP gear, which give up to +30%) ]
multiply with +40% [ Human Improved Recovery + Finger's Necklace ]
so up to + 82% without Monk AP involved


but not quite sure about how they treat about Monk's AP -- could anyone provide the information about how monk enhancement works up with others?

anyway, my Human battle cleric can heal himself up to 1383hp with empower healing, Gauntlets of Eternity (reaver glove), Levik's Bracer(hound), Finger Necklace, Human Improved Recovery I enhancement, and Cleric Prayer of Incredible Life I -- so it's very possible to hit 2k+ critical heal without Monk AP(actually, it could be somewhere around 2139 if my calculation was correct, with similar gear on myself but got Human Improved Recovery III and Prayer of Incredible Life III, also with Shroud Healing AMP III item)
