Please could you explain how your GMs are now banning people for Voice Chat after the fact?

Let me quote Tolero:

As for reporting a farmer (not a spammer mind you, a farmer), remember that those incidents have to go through an investigation process. The team needs to be able to show harder evidence than "he said" - this is for our customer's protection.

I can only conclude that if you are going to give that much credit to farmers, that you actually do the same for regular players. So when I log on and find out that a player has been banned for what someone ALLEGES he said in Voice Chat I have a serious problem with this.

Your rules are quite clear: it does not matter what someone says you did, nor does it matter how many say it – an investigation needs to take place. I am deeply disappointed that this was not the case. Essentially this has established a precedent that if I have a problem with someone, I need only get my entire guild to report some voice chat issue with him and that will get them banned. If this wrong is not righted I can assure you I look forward to use this new tactic in game.

Well done on firmly entrenching the Kommunist Kobold youth as a staple of DDO justice.

Sincerely,
Deeply Concerned

I agree with this personally i know the individual in question he happens to be on my squelch list but this is still wrong. This standard will force Turbine to lose many good players. Most of who have multiple accounts. If childish games will help me get rid of individuals i dislike i may just use this system to get individuals i dislike banned and move to a game that keeps its word on how their system is going to work.

Give this player his account access back its wrong even if you, GMs dislike this person.

I'd wager there was *much* more behind the banning than a single "something said on voice chat"

Good players don't get accused of stuff like this.

The game is better off without them. I say err on the side of getting rid of people who think they can say whatever they want in VC.

So if you don't like me for any reason, i guess you'll just report me and get me baned. Sweet.
Oh, oh, and when i come back from my ban i can do the same to you. Sweeter.

A reminder that discussions of discipline are not permitted on the forums. Additionally, the GMs are unable to discuss the disciplinary action related to others users with anyone but the user themselves.
