Rituals on Greensteel Tier 2?

Quick question...if I have Tier 2 goggles, and then i craft a the +1 to saves ritual on them, can I later craft my Tier 3? Or if I do the ritual upgrade, will it prevent me from adding the 3rd tier later?

Just don't want to make a mistake with spending 4 lightning split soarwoods as they are not easy to find these days!

You'll be fine, rituals don't affect crafting.
