Anyone Have this happen?

I was in the shroud last night and was upgrading my rapier to tier 1. Do to limited backpack space I would tame the ingredients out for each upgrade and then create the required combination ( was going for a Mineral 2 rapier) . So I take out the ingredients for the positive energy, make that put all ingredients in bag, continue with gem of dominion, and finally take out ingredients for material essence and get a successful creation of item, I take them all out of bag combine them to get my supershard then place it in the altar with my rapier and powercell..Hit the craft button- says success.

SO i search thru my back pack for my item, initially scanning right over it. When I finally locate it I get This---- An improved Devotion VI greensteel Rapier..... (GRRRRR). I am not sure how this happened and I submitted a bug report. But its not my first time crafting and I followed the spreadsheet directly, even double checked before i hit the combine button because I really wanted this Rapier. Needless to say I was a little miffed at this. ANy Thoughts?

it is more likely you added the wrong items and got a different upgraded ingredient. this has happened to me once. as for crafting, my recommendation is to do it after the run so that you can be alone in the shroud to do it slowly w/o external influences or pressures

Well I did wait until the raid was over to go back and craft. Was just me by myself in the raid, and I definately ensured that I had the right ingredients (it took a while for me to get them). So like I said not sure what happened just wanted to no if it had happened to anyone else. Thanks.

Unfortunately the most likely explanation is you made a mistake, and used an ethereal essence instead of a material one.
If this happens again, make sure you take a screenshot (since the crafting process gives feedback in the chat log), as otherwise I doubt anyone will believe it's the game's fault (although it's also possible, but much less likely).

when i went to complete my min2 light pick i was at the final altar with a buddy. I forgot to get my supreme shard out of the bank, while he messed up his ingredients and put devotion as the final tier on his axe...which is really useful to a barbarian.

I have made 5 or 6 green items now using the spreadsheet and this has never happened to me. You had to have had a wrong item in your crafting.
