View Full Version : 13 rogue/2 paly/1monk? need help

wanting to make Good AC halfling assassin, Dex build. Not seeing how to make it work. (got 32 points) only have some plus 1 tomes atm willing to wait for some plus 2's. is this build workable or should I drop paly and go 2 lvls of fighter? would like the paly saves but if u cant have it all I can deal with it.

any Ideas will be much looked at , Thanks

I have often thought about trying such a build..I would actually drop the monk lvl. 4 stats you will need the most are intel. dex. cha. and con. if you try and go for the wis. bonus to ac with the monk lvl I think you find your other stats will suffer.
even if you only go a base 10 wis and a +2 tome along with a +6 item you will only get +4 ac and if you use wep's. other than kama's you will lose 1 on attack and ac. so at most you will increase your ac by 3. although i think you will get an extra feat with the monk lvl.

It is a nice build to think about but is the trade off worth it?

I am sure someone will disagree but that's my 2cp

it isn't just that you have to spread out stats, you have to find slots for all of your stat equipment. i'd think that 13 rogue/2fighter/1 monk or 13 rogue/2 ranger/1 monk would be more ideal.
