I have a friend who owns a copy of DDO (with a current subscription). His system has crashed requiring it to be sent back to the manufacturer. I also have DDO installed on both my computers here with the same CD-Key (so i can play in my office or laying in bed at night - never at the same time - cause i can't be in two places at once [duh!]). If he was to visit me for the weekend, could he use the second copy of DDO with his username and password and still play? Or would it cause either both copies or my subscription to be cancelled due to improper use?

the question arrises because he initially started using a 10-day free trial which we copied across from my system (because of the size and download/bandwidth limitations in Regoinal Australia.)?

A quick answer would be appreciated... It's already Friday Afternoon!

Cheers

Yes you can as long as you both use your own login/account. The game key (cd/dvd key) was used to create your account (billing.turbine.com) and is not used during installation of the game.

My husband and I have separate accounts and multiple computers we also have friends who play DDO and often come here. We can login from any of the computers and often have 3 or more people logged in at once playing the game from my home.

Oh thank you for that Talish. Both myself and my guest's brother are elated to hear the news... Now neither of us has to put up with him whinging for the next 10-14 days while his puter is in the shop!
