Over 1,524,000 Spam reports and counting

Ok this is my biggest pet peeve ever. The spams, everytime I get one I ignore the sender and report them. As of this afternoon there are 1,524,917 submitted reports for Gold Spammers, ohh and now my ignore list is full so my only buffer from these clowns is gone. What has Turbine done? This is on Ghallanda alone take into account the other servers and we are talking over 5 million reports... I have seen nothing done. Great job getting rid of the Mail spammers but all that did is increase the Tells, there have been fantastic ideas thrown around from the community things that would take all of 20 mins for the devs to create and employ, still nothing. I guarantee one of the reasons for the obvious drop in clients is these gold spammers, and people who use their services, there is no way things on the AH would be as expensive as they are if there wasn't people buying gold from outside sources. Get rid of these people and their tells or lose your clients Turbine.

eh... ive never bought gold from outside sources and have a large amount of plat, believe it or not people do work hard for there money, making toons with haggle and mailing all loot to them for that extra 500 plat per weapon. But i agree nobody likes the spam tells and it would be nice if they were gone but i would rather see new content then a anti plat farmer mod. So for now, i just put up with it.

i stood in the begining area after makin a new charcater the other day and litterally saw over 20 people with bogus names like gushmmkj come and go over a time period. If someone spent some time in this areafor any amount of time u can tell who the gold spammers are. Soultion is simple ..... have somone standing in area after character creation kicking all the people with names liek ghndxknfd and thats that

You know, I'm just wondering, what is this report gold spammer function doing for you guys? I personally think it's just a counter, it doesn't do anything at all but count, and than depending on how much spam you guys count in a month you well have the evidence to show that you need some extra resources to deal with this problem or devote current resources to deal with this problem.

That's my best shot in the dark.

I see yellow text and I glance quick to see if it is from a spammer. If it is I ignore it and play on. No aggravation, no counters, no problem.
