Hello,
Every time I log into DDO, I receive a message saying, "The controller does not have enough bandwidth available for the USB Composite Device , which has requested 16% of the bus bandwidth." I really do not know where to begin to figure out the source of the problem, but only when I open the DDO program do I get this problem, and it causes my game to freeze every few minutes for about 2 seconds. I appreciate any help or suggestions. I will gladly give any other information if it's requested. Thank you for your help!
I have listed below information about my computer. I just gave information that I thought was helpful, if anyone needs more I can list them.

That is a very odd problem.
Do you have a USB - Network Adapter?
Try re-organizing your USB devices -- if you have multiple devices plugged into a single hub -- split them up, try putting them in the front of your computer and/or try plugging others in the back of your computer.
Additionally -- remove uneeded devices. If you have several USB Cameras, Printers .. Flight Sticks -- etc, remove those before starting DDO.
I'm going blind for the most part here -- so if this doesn't help you out, you need to share:
1) how many total usb ports does your computer have, and where they are located.
2) Are you using a USB hub -- or another device that has a built-in USB hub, such as a keyboard.
3) How many USB devices you have, and where do you have them plugged in at -- specify which are inserted directly into your computer and others that are plugged into your USB Hub.

Currently plugged into USB's are my keyboard and my mouse. Everything else I've always plugged in only when I need it. I have a wireless card since the router is downstairs, the card also has an antenna and when purchased was ensured that it would suit my needs for DDO, (or so I thought...). There are several other computers connected to the router, however, when I run DDO on the laptop, it runs perfectly fine so I do not believe it would be the routers output of bandwidth.
USB ports: 2 on the front of the case with nothing plugged in, and 1 in front from an external device which is plugged into another spot on the motherboard.
4 USB in back, 2 being used, one with a mouse, one with a keyboard. On the back panel like most motherboards it makes a square with the USBs.
[1] [2]
[3] [4]
1 and 4 are being used, Keyboard is in port 1, and mouse in port 4.
I have PCI network adapter

and 1 in front from an external device which is plugged into another spot on the motherboard.
What is that device and where is it plugged in on the motherboard?
When did this start happening? Has it always happened since you installed DDO or did it just suddenly start? If it started happening out of nowhere, what changes were made to the configuration before it started happening? (new device installed, new software was installed, etc.)
I see your running Windows XP service pack 2. Run windows update and get all of the high priority updates. I had some funny issues that were cleared up after installing Service Pack 3.
After removing unneeded USB devices, are you immediately starting DDO or are you restarting the PC before playing? Try rebooting after you remove your unneeded devices before playing.
Also check the website for your motherboard manufacturer and make sure you have the latest motherboard drivers.
You may want to post this in the support forum as well so a DDO customer rep can give you some assistance.
Good luck. I hope you get it figured out. Let us know the status on the issue and what fixes it. ;)

I actually just built the computer in may, and I haven't been able to play ddo till just recently so I guess i could say it has always been like this, so i suppose that rules out the other questions. (like config. changes)
The external device is plugged into a USB port on the motherboard next to the front panel plugs, so its not plugged into a USB port, but a motherboard port which can be used for USB devices. Im not sure how to explain it. Lol when it comes to certain technical language for the computers, I come up short on knowledge.
On my other computer I ran ddo under SP2 for WinXP and it was fine, so Im really not sure if SP2 is the problem, but regardless I will get SP3. And As i said before, i only have 2 things plugged into USB ports, keyboard and mouse, nothing else. In addition, after moving one of the USB plugs to a different location, the error doesnt' show up, but DDO still does the 2 second freeze every few moments. I've never had a problem with DDO, so I find myself skeptical to think that it would be an error. (I actually installed ddo, and then replaced the folder from my former hard drive to my new one to skip waiting for updates)
I do have the latest drivers released for all my devices, excluding SP3 of course.
Thank you very much for helping, im not familiar with the forums so i appreciate the suggestion for going to a support forum. Since I wasn't sure if it was specifically linked to something wrong with ddo and just the computer, I figured I'd ask in general for advice.

It sounds like you have USB 2.0 devices connected to you computer and you only have USB 1.0 ports on your computer
If you can install SP3 and then see if you can upgrade to usb 2.0 if your motherboard is able to.
If you cant get a newer motherboard drivers then you will probally need to get a add in card for USB 2.0
What is happending you, but may not be the problem, you have the older USB 1.0 and then you got a new mouse or Keyboard that uses USB2.0.
USB 2.0 can not be used on USB1.0, you have to upgrade to USB2.0

The external device is plugged into a USB port on the motherboard next to the front panel plugs, so its not plugged into a USB port, but a motherboard port which can be used for USB devices. Im not sure how to explain it. Lol when it comes to certain technical language for the computers, I come up short on knowledge.
After trying the other suggestions, if you still have the issue, try shutting off the PC and disconnecting this device just to rule it out. Since it is plugged into a USB connector on the motherboard, it is using the USB bus. After disconnecting it, boot up and try DDO. If you no longer have the problem after disconnecting this device, at least you can pinpoint where the issue is originating.
Let us know the outcome. I am curious what is causing the problem.

well usb 2.0 was made in 2001, so Im slightly skeptical that my motherboard would be 1.0 version. I'll crack open the case and double check my motherboard and my settings to see what speed it is. I've been told a high number of suggestions outside of DDO such as moving my wireless card to another PCI slot, or rearranging my mouse and keyboard on different ports, and several other things. I really appreciate everyone's help!
And that "external device" i keep talking about is a memory card reader that happens to have a usb port on it. I dont use it except when i plug in a digital camera card into the computer. If anyone needs I can always take pictures or send information of anything people need, such as type of hardware I have, or model, etc.
Alright, I disconnected that "extra" card reader, and I took a peek at my motherboard manual, and it sats "Supports up to 8 USB 2.0/1.1 ports (four at mid-board, four on the rear panel)". And as I stated before only am currently using 2, one for a mouse, one for a keyboard.
The Keyboard is just a basic logitech keyboard, (not wireless), nothing fancy.
The mouse is a G7 logitech mouse (wireless), im not sure if wireless or not really makes a difference for information, probably not but just in case i listed it.
I moved the wireless card to a different PCI slot to see it it makes a difference. And also, as i said before, sometimes the "error" message does not show up, but DDO still freezes every few minutes for about 2 seconds. I read the post about client lag and server lag, (Okay i had something else hre saying it's client lag, but now im on ddo to double check and my mouse CAN move, not sure why i thought it didnt.) SO! is it still client lag...?
And i figured if it was server lag (due to ddo) then EVERYONE would be complaining, since i highly doubt freezing every few minutes would go unnoticed.
So maybe it's my network lag? But then if it's my network, when my laptop is on ddo then shouldn't it lag too, although it doesnt.
Edit: I googled searched the "bandwidth exceeded" thing, and the only results I got where ones referring to things like webcams and skype and things like that. But no such things or programs are installed on this computer.
Edit 2: Even with PCI wireless card moved, and the external memory card reader unplugged it still gives me the problem.... Next step, running this case downstairs to connect directly to the router... Thats the annoying thing when it's an unknown possible source of problem, you have to do every little thing....

IT'S FIXED!!!!!!!!!!!!:D
For those curious here's the solution
The driver which was updated with the motheboard had the wrong audio driver attached. Although I had the right file, (M2N-SLI) for some reason it had an Nvidia sound drivers which although the device manager said "No conflict" still caused the audio to use more than the system could allow.
So after trial and error, about I swear like 53 of moving things, reconnecting, taking this out, hooking this up, re installing EVERYTHING, and restarting DDO EACH TIME SOMETHING CHANGED , one thing FINALLY worked.
There were two of us trying to figure out the problem, and eventually we narrowed it down to audio, (since after disabling one of my two composite devices my sound shut off, but the problem also ceased).
And some how or another he (not me, lol i actually have no credit in fixing it) figured out the on board sound device doesn't match the audio which the motherboard cd, (And the latest audio driver of my motherboard model) came with and we had to download and install a separate driver. C-Media being the name of my audio device, not Nvidia.
So Thank you ManinBlaq (x2 since you were in the tech forums too), Avelin, and Theboz for all your suggestions and help, since it gave ideas to what to try for the trial and error!
