New Laptop. Suggestions?

I’m biting the bullet and buying a new laptop with Vista but want input before I do so. Here are the specs

HP
Vista Business with SP1 (32bit)
17’ WSXGA (1680X1050)
Intel 2 Duo Processor P8600 (2.4 GHz)
4GB DDR (2 Dimm)[/SIZE]
512MB NVIDA GeForce 9600M GT
320GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive

What challenges can I expect with Vista and DDO?
This is a personal/school laptop (Cost $2000 w/3yr warranty)

You don't necessarily HAVE to go to Vista with the laptop.
Most of the major manufacturers have a downgrade option, where it will have the Vista Business license, but have XP Pro installed.

If you go strictly with Vista you'll likely have to set DDO to run as Admin.
I'm sure someone that is running DDO on Vista will give you more Details, since I've only used Vista when building new systems for clients, and haven't gotten to use it with DDO. :)

Anyhow, consider this a minor tip and a bump.

Recently upgraded to the Dell Studio17 notebook with LED screen. The brightness of the LED over the standard LCD screen is amazing. I'll never go back to using the older LCD technology on notebooks...

My brother and I both run DDO in Vista on our Mac's with boot camp and have no issues.
