View Full Version : rerolling my only 1750 favour character

I am hoping to hit 1750 favour shortly and am planning what I want to do with my new character creation abilities. Here is the question... Once I unlock 1750 favour and 32-point builds, is it tied to my account or to that one toon? In other words, what happens if I were to delete and reroll the only character that has 1750 favour?

Thanks!

Curious as to why you would feel the need to delete/reroll him... You get an extra character slot with 1750 anyway....

Dude, keep that toon for awhile. You'll get an extra character slot to roll a new toon and you'll still have a 16 to run big-loot quests with.

Or, if you are so inclined, move the character to another server you may have thought about visiting anyway, and have your 32 pt builds there as well. ;)

if it is your only favor toon...you will probably not be able to open the 32 point build other than what you have created...meaning you have to do all that all over again to get a 32.

just keep it

Untrue. Once you have unlocked 32 point builds one time, they are unlocked for good, even if you delete all the characters and start rolling new ones.

Just make sure you roll up a 32 point character BEFORE you delete your 1750 favor character. It would suck to delete him, then realize that you forgot to talk to Nyx or some other step required to unlock 32pt builds.

Havent there recently been bugs where people delete an old character and try to recreate a ninth character and cant, then have to talk to nyx with thier 1750favor character to re-unlock it?

To your account on the server you unlock on.

Had a buddy get drunk and delete his only 1750. His 32 point was still available, but he had unlocked it before deleting and gotten his +2 tome.

I would definately keep that toon. You never know what patch or update will screw something up and you will need to reset your 32 pt builds. Nothing against Turbine, that stuff just happens something in development. Your call in the end, i just wouldn't do it.

Once unlocked the 32 point build is yours. Do whatever with the original that you want to do.

In my case I wanted to reuse the name so I deleted him.

However, I waited a long time to do this. The reason is that he was my highest level character and when I needed money he was able to pull the loot runs.

What I did instead was build a 32 point character and played that one until he caught up to the original. Then I deleted the original and remade him.
