McCain at War With The New York Times
By DEVLIN BARRETT, APposted: 2 HOURS AGOcomments: 1793PrintSharefiled under: Election News, John McCain, Political New
What McCain's campaign spokesman Michael Goldfarb said in response to another New York Times editorial that slams McCain
"If the shareholders of The New York Times ever wonder why the paper's ad revenue is plummeting and its share price tanking, they need look no further than the hysterical reaction of the paper's editors to any slight, real or imagined, against their preferred candidate," said McCain campaign spokesman Michael Goldfarb.
Goldfarb compared the editors to a blogger "sitting at home in his mother's basement and ranting into the ether between games of Dungeons & Dragons."
Now this post is not political in nature. I do not intend to display my political preferances. I would like to point out that Mr. Michael Goldfarb might have picked up on our (DDO players) ranting nature. However being a serious gamer I find it difficult to find time "between games" to rant on issues not related to DDO.:D

Of certain religions thinking DnD was a gateway to Witchcraft and whatnot back in the day. The spokeman in main just showing his ignorance and "old foginess" more than anything else.
*Clarification*-This by no way besmirches the reputation, of Senator McCain, nor does it attempt to make any assurtions on his qualifications or ability to become President. It only makes commentary on said quote given in the OP.

This really has no reason for being here. Big news a lot of people that do not play D&D make light of D&D or its players. This has been happening since D&D first was launched.
Why not go back and find every such comment from those folks seriously?

Fair enough to quote it. Kind of funny for us that play DDO.
I'd like to just point out that at least he wouldn't stone DnD players as his opponent's might once he establishes the 'new order'.

I thought the term new order was always contributed to Republicans?... Democrats are using it now?
Or is there a difference between 'New World Order' and 'New Order'?
