Right now I am building this build he is up to lvl 5 and doing great. I figured I would share for those that want to see.

I am doing this from memory of what he is and what he should end up being.

Race: Halfing

Stats
str: 14
dex: 18
con: 10
int: 8
wis: 14
cha: 12

lvl 1: ranger
lvl 2: monk
lvl 3: ranger
lvl 4: monk
lvl 5: pally
lvl 6: pally
lvl 7: pally
lvl 8: ranger
lvl 9: ranger
lvl 10: ranger
lvl 11: ranger
lvl 12: pally
lvl 13: pally
lvl 14: pally
lvl 15: pally
lvl 16: pally

feats
weapon finesse
dodge
twf defense
toughness
oversized twf (for duel wielding rapiers)
imp crt piercing
mobility
spring attack

Now depending on gear and tomes could be even better... As of lvl 5 he has a 29 base ac unbuffed. I think I figured it up with gear no tomes to have a base 45 ac at lvl 16. but I just thought I would share my build with everyone.

had to make a change on the feats forgot you had to take mobility and spring attack for ranger tempest so I removed 2nd toughness feat and removed gtwf for mobility and spring attack

well so far the build is doing great. He is really awesome if I think of the fact he doesnt have all the elite weapons and gear for lvl 8. I have found that there are two ways you can take this build both good depending on how you want to lvl.

First way is to go ranger1, monk2, ranger3, monk4, pally5-11, ranger12-15, and pally16. Reason being to have ranger tempest at lvl 15 because of taking feats oversized twf, and two weapon defense. This way will give a little more hit points do to the pally higher hp dice and, a nice little added attack speed and ac at high lvl.

Second way is to go ranger1, monk2, ranger3, monk4, pally5-7, ranger8-11, pally12-16. Reasons being to have ranger tempest ealier in your build. reason for pally 5-7 lvls is to have fear immunity and also ac bonuses and saves.

Right now I am lvling up the first way and dont think I am going to switch up my feats to try the other as of yet. but hey either way works :)

ran a little test on the build yesterday and ran sc solo on normal at lvl 7. went really well had a couple of scary moments wondering if I would die due to lag but stayed alive and thats all that matters right :P I didnt use haste pots which probably made it a little longer and a little tougher than it should have been. I also did not do any of the options because I just wanted to see if I could do it. So the build is solid enough to do well without all the elite gear but would be much better if you have the elite gear and tomes.

btw if anyone looking at this build have any questions I will be happy to answer them best I can. I have noticed it has gotten a few looks. :)

I am planning a very similar character but dwarf.

I'm not going with as many paladin levels and am planning 2 monk levels to pick up an extra feat and +1 WIS.

At L16 the character will be M2/P3/R11 with ~200hp and a geared up AC ~60 (w/o buffs).

My start stats are 8 18 12 12 15 8. I'll toss a +1 INT tome at it before picking up combat expertise.

Final stats will be 10 26 16 14 18 12 with level increases, enhancements and tomes (although some require +3 tomes so will be a point lower for a while).

Leveling plan is R, P, M, M, Rx5, Px2, Rx5.

Interesting build.

If you are going to be dual weilding Rapiers, won't that make you uncentered and lose your Monk bonuses?I guess I don't understand why the two levels of Monk. It doesn't really make sense unless you are going touse the abilities which it appears you aren't, except maybe evasion, and if you wanted evasion, you could've gone with two levels of Rogue instead.

I'd suggest Dropping OTWF and taking GTWF

the penalty (-4 to attack bonus vs -2)is a lot less severe than the 2 fewer attacks

and if worse came to worse you could just wield a Short sword in your off hand

and I'd save TWD til the end so that you can get Tempest earlier

really I'd go

1: Weapon Finesse
2m1: Dodge
3: Mobility
4m2: toughness
6: Spring Attack
9:IC: Piercing
12: GTWF
15: OTWF or TWD

You would lose the Centered bonus but not the Wisdom bonus to AC the two extra Feat or Evasion... so It is pretty nice really
