It was on the TPS reports...You know the one that leaked that the GMs play LOTR while on DDO duty? If they're in a quest you're just gonna have to wait until they're done:p

Not much interrupts me when Im in quest, why should it be any different for a GM?

Jeesh, you'd think they were paid to help you or something...

oh great. they are probably on a bugged quest and waiting for a LOTR GM to fix their quest... Well, not all of our party is done, but i think I am.. a wasted hour. Just reaffirms what I knew already, there is no in-game support. why bother with the tickets, just switch to bug reports only, at least then people won't spend an hour waiting for the "GM" to fix a bugged quest.

Getting a GM here is tough. Getting one in Asheron's Call is nigh impossible. The only exception is when someone starts spamming global chat with "ban me" words. They'll ban the offender right quick (usually), but the people waiting for hours to get unstuck or whatever will still be stuck.

Don't get me wrong, I love these games. I just wish the CS team were a little more robust.

just to be honest, the GM did come and fix the quest when I posted that last post, but I still think an hour is absurd. Actually, it would be interesting to see in a poll the average wait time to get a GM to fix a bugged quest. my guess is at least 30 min.

I did that quest the other day for the first time in a while. He disappeared after the battle started.
We had to wait for a GM. Did not take too long, but we did have an endless battle while waiting with the spawns.
He spawned him in the doorway next to the room though.
We were low on mana and stuff by then but we killed him.

From what I am reading here, this quest is now gonna bug at the end rain or shine and should be closed just like haverdashers (and a few others)...

I think we got lucky that the GM came within 15 minutes.

Shame. I liked the quest but now I know why no one wants to do it.
