I know it is like flogging a dead horse, but I have just had to format my machine... Now I have to wait while DDO downloads over 12000 files to update itself.

Just complaining out of frustration. I know there is nothing likely to be done about this in the future except now I have installed DDO on a seperate partition so that in the future I should be able to avoid this.

Would be nice if they released updated full version downloads though.

You should download the newest ddo client and patch in your spare time.
It comes in handy.

Here I would like to offer you a patch which may save you some times to update online.
Install it, then the client will apply the files automaticly.

If you need m6 high defination version of ddo client download links, pls pm me, as I don't know to post it pubblicly is legal or not.

I've got the orginal release DVD, and currently patched .dat files

Install via DVD, copy over all .dat files. Done. No patch time required.
