I just casted this last night and after examining the buff icon in the top right it mentions something about blinding...
Anyone seen this blinding work?

Holy Aura
Abjuration [Good]
Level: Clr 8, Good 8
Components: V, S, F
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: 20 ft.
Targets: One creature/level in a 20-ft.-radius burst centered on you
Duration: 1 round/level (D)
Saving Throw: See text
Spell Resistance: Yes (harmless)
A brilliant divine radiance surrounds the subjects, protecting them from attacks, granting them resistance to spells cast by evil creatures, and causing evil creatures to become blinded when they strike the subjects. This abjuration has four effects.
First, each warded creature gains a +4 deflection bonus to AC and a +4 resistance bonus on saves. Unlike protection from evil, this benefit applies against all attacks, not just against attacks by evil creatures.
Second, each warded creature gains spell resistance 25 against evil spells and spells cast by evil creatures.
Third, the abjuration blocks possession and mental influence, just as protection from evil does.
Finally, if an evil creature succeeds on a melee attack against a warded creature, the offending attacker is blinded (Fortitude save negates, as blindness/deafness, but against holy aura’s save DC).

I vaguely remember it being said the spell is broken.
1. I have cast it with my cleric as recently as two days ago and it only affects me and not allies as per the spell description.
2. I will have to play around with the effects but I have never seen a creature blinded from the spell or even have to save; I mean most CRs at the point you get this are 20+ and have fairly low fortitude saves. Given the short duration, they should get no save but the effect is only for a short period (say 2-3 sec per caster level).
3. I do not know if the ac bonuses stack with other buffs.
4. As for the "possession" and "mind control" - I do not what what they mean (enchantment spells?)

Hmm... Poor spell it had so much potential too!

the possession probably refers to domination like the flayers use.
It is a broken and useless level 8 spell. Just like 99% of the other 8th level spells. Great job once again devs!

The AOE For Party Mates does Not WOrk.
I've never seen the Blindness work. (WOuld be Incredibly handy end game)
The Resistance DOes indeed stack.
I think the AC Stacks as well... But I never care abotu AC so I've never paid attenton.
It prevents Domination as per Protection from Evil (Vampires and Flayers tend to use that spell)
There is no Possession in this game.. How COol would that be though?

I'd still like to lose control of my character and start attacking party members when charmed and the like.

Confirmed the resistance bonus does stack with my boots of the innocence.
The AC bonus doesnt stack with shield of faith.

sometimes I would like to do that even when not charmed

The easier question to answer is "What doesn't Holy Aura do?"
And the answer to that is "What it's supposed to do" or "Work" depending on your personal preference.

Thanks Impaqt, forgot about that.
That would be cool ... and easy to implement. :)
