Does the healing scale to a significant level?

Does the cooldown make the use of this impractical?

Is the amount of healing based on WIS?

On the very, very rare occassion that I use this ability I've seen numbers ranging from 18 to low 20's.

I am, Rameses!

No.

Not really, by the time the FoL cooldown is up normally it's time to hit the mob with it again :)

No.

IMO It should scale somehow based on either monk level or WIS.

As the others have responded, but if you can fit it in a superior potency I item and a sup healing lore can get you some nice numbers. I've crit healed myself for up to 89 using Healing Ki. Thats with a +40% healing from enhancements though. It would be nice if it scaled in some way more then it does now. The Finisher description says its 1d4 +1d4/2 monk levels so we should be getting 9d4 at level 16 which averages to 22.5 hps healed. Not stellar but not bad combined with any healing from the FoL curse. I'm hoping there is a way to get a stronger healing curse to stick on stuff. 1d2 is nice but it would be really nice if that scaled in some way as well.

EDIT: Oh and the devotion/lore item I have is the Eternal Gauntlets. None of the clerics wanted them. As a result I am running with just normal Devotion so I'm only getting a 20% bonus, if I had superior devotion or potency I would be getting numbers a bit higher.

Rameses would be seeing numbers averaging in the 30 range instead of 18-20.

You can get Devotion on helmets and qstaffs, which are easier on the Monk's slot budget than some other slots. I have the halfling dragonmarks so it's more important for me though.

I have a Sup Dev III helmet for Healing Ki and the Least and Lesser dragonmarks, and a Greater Dev VI qstaff for the Greater dragonmark.

At level 13 my Healing Ki averages at around 30. Really nice in some circumstances, totally useless in others.

Using a superior potency II ring, and my heals are usually around 30; I think this works on other things, too. I tried it with the burning hands effect, and hit for almost 80, but that might have been a crit.
