My guess how they did it:

part1

wizard CC's on portals then pulls a 2 handed sword and beats on it with the barb. The ranger roams...... rinse repeat. Done.

part2

everyone does their own puzzles. The wizard knocks all the locked doors and everyone runs water and finishes whatever puzzle needin to be done.
They all have barb levels so it didnt take long at all.

part3

pull the bosses, 1 or 2 at a time. beat them to within an inch of their lives and kite them while the other 2 are worked on, then kill em all at same time. Ranger did kiting, barb beat and wiz healed when not swinging his sword.

part4

again CC by wiz otherwise both the wiz and barb beat on the devil with the wiz healing the only 2 in melee, who are of course both WF. Im betting the ranger has a lightning bow and ranged. A well placed cloud kill and the ranger killed the gnolls.

part5

this was likely very easy. ranger kites everything and wiz + barb pulls off 1 boss at a time. The devil was very ez Im sure with the ranger and his lightning bow ranging.... the barb melee'ed and the wiz would need to sit back and heal on this one.


had to have been a great effort and pots/ scrolls would make up for slight mistakes..... but with 3 men only the quest would not be very forgiving.

As it was our first try...we used some resorces and time.

i used 8 major pots and 6~700 heal/reconstruct scrolls.

6major pots in part 4, 2 in part 5.

had to have been a great effort and pots/ scrolls would make up for slight mistakes..... but with 3 men only the quest would not be very forgiving.

part1

-> wizard was mainly a healer with limited CC. ranger killed almost everything. barb keep beating portals.

-> part 2. we pulled them out one by one and killed at least once. it makes them 'not to heal themselves' if they are seperated. Yes, we were lucky. No gnoll

->it took about 8~10 rounds. no CC at all. we killed gnolls together, ranger and barbarian both melee together, while i`m healing them. our ranger ranged when he could use manyshots.

part5

-> THIS WAS NOT EASY!! . lol our ranger ran out of his silver arrows. and I was once disconnected by connection problems right after we kill 4 mobs. Our barbarian ranged with his returner. Ranger range/melee with some dibuffs on Pit fiend, cus he had higer AC to survive.

this is not necessarily uber toons to complete but what you have here is a solid game plan that all 3 players understand, impliment and execute properly.
i am soooooo jealous of the actual players behind the toons due to the fact I had two 12 men groups and we wiped on the 2nd part TWICE!!!!! Even after exsplicitly explaining what everyone had to do. A few people that know what they are doing is far greater than 12 people who have their heads up their *****.

Anyways... less people you got, less people to heal, more SP to be spend elsewhere.
So it's not that difficult. Everyone should try it :)
3 men complition is way too boring (part 5), I'd suggest 5 men completion.

IMO,
3 men in part 2 needs tactics, skills, gears, and a WF caster,
4 men in part 2 needs tactics and skills, and a WF caster,
5 men in part 2 needs just tactics. It's fairly challengable for everyone :>
