Ghost Touch handwraps...

Alright, so I know Ghost Touch isn't working on handwraps (rant for another time), but there wouldn't be any downside to having them, would there?

I'm looking at a pair of ghost touch handwraps of disruption on the auction house that I could get if I borrowed just a little bit from a friend, and I wanted to make sure there wouldn't be any other odd bug popping up because of it. It would still be a good buy for the disruption, right? And, if they ever do fix Ghost Touch, would only get better, yes?

who can say whether another odd bug will pop up, but if you are intent on having your monk long term and you are willing to wait for the bug to be fixed to take advantage of the ghost touch why wouldn't you want them

Does disruption work on hand wraps? I know smiting doesn't.

Smithing doesn't? I didn't know that. Disruption most definently does, though. i went through Caverns of Korromer like a hot knife through half-melted butter :D A couple times. Beholder was still a pain, but it disrupted everything until then - skeletons, wraiths, dread wraiths, named and un-named, just fine.

First of all, the smiting effect doesn't show up on my monk in the examination orb.
I roll two 20s on the first clay golem in the Haunted Library. One wasn't confirmed, and the other one was. There was no roll showing saving or not saving against the smiting effect.

Perhaps the hand wraps didn't work because they were race required: warforged. I notice others saying that rr handwraps were the same as no hand wraps.

Soon as I can get a little more money saved up, if the ones in the AH right now aren't taken, i can pick some up and try them myself.

Banishing works too, right? And, I assume, there aren't any handwrap/blunt weapon equilivant to Vorpal is there?

weighted 5% is pretty much the same as vorpal when you're in a group... less so when you're soloing given the monk's low DPS - but it's free Ki either way.
