They are called Halfling Bards with Inspire Heroics. A WF should be able to carry 2-3 of them in his pack at all times. They can also be used for improvised throwing weapons if they have a decent rapier.

I was somewhat upset about Icy Raiments too, being a Warforged-only player. However, Warforged are different than the fleshy folks. If they do make something for Warforged to be on-par with Icy Raiments I would hope it was something along the lines of a stacking -/DR docent or some different form of physical mitigation.

I tried that before... but I forgot to feed them. They don't seem to sing quite as well anymore as halfling zombies. :)

It's an even bigger slap in the face to the S&B than to the WFs... if you ask me.

Well the forged to have the docent of defiance and the titan docent. Granted they arent full time but they are better dr then any fleshy armor.
Forged do need something, as to S&B users to equate out the rainments. Otherwise the idea of a defensive [blank] should be thrown out the door.

What about us high dex comp body WF rangers? I want all clothing to be able to be converted to docents in the change altars.
We still don't have Fearsome/Deathblock docents of Greater XXX Resist! We should for parity even if they are just +1. Docents shouldn't be counted as armor but robes or they should have 2 different types of docents.

Well this is the monk mod after all so what do you want.. Sour grapes is what I hear now that monks/rangers with a decent intimidate skill (maybe fighter splash level) have replaced the sword and board dinosaur of an intimidate tank.

What I have never really understood is why wf can't wear robes.. I mean they got two arms and would seem to have the physical mechanics to wear a robe. I mean what can't wf cinch their belts tight around their waist. Are the devs saying wf are that stupid? If I was an ac wf I would figure out how to wear an icy rainment robe. Heck I would ductape the icy rainments to me every day..

LOL yep my WF 2hander hasnt been played a whole lot for the lack of new raid loot. BP of destruction effectively raising to-hit scores on fleshy melees, Icy Raiment for 4 AC and a nice combo resist item, +5 Mith FP with +2 to-hit. I was shocked there was an something nice for cloth-light-medium/heavy but no docent whatsoever. Bring on the Lord of Blades Mod!

Unless there is something about the docent of defiance or titan docent that prevents high dex, composite body WF rangers from wearing them I don't see your point in quoting me.
I admitted that forged as well as S and B types need some sort of better armor options. And yes forged to get the short end of the stick because of the whole body type issue. One doesnt want to simply hand an icey rainment docent to an adamantine body forged. Nor do we really want to start restricting docents to specific body types.
There just needs to be better distribution of neat armor options between all the armor types from none to docents.

Where are the random(non-named) drops with Dodge on them? These types of things should also have a chance in random loot too, you know for the people who think DDO raids are blah(being nice)...:)
This would help WF also.;)
On an aside DDO imo needs to get away from 12 man content for all the endgame.

Why can't WF wear robes? I am in the understanding from PnP that they could. I have Official minatures of WFs in robes. I think they could at least tie it aroun their neck like a cape, or around their waist. Something. Wouldn't this solvethis problem?

its not the robes but I believe the magical effects form the robes are not compatible with the energy that makes a WF sentient and capable of moving

Maybe in DDO but not in the Eberron campaign setting if I remember correctly.

The Docent of Defiance and even the Titan Docent to a lesser degree are for TANK WF not for a dex based WF.
I will say that the Docent of Quickening is a great start to better docents for WF but it is a 3 on a 10 scale whereas the new fleshie armor in the raids are more like 8s on a 10 scale. We need some 7 and 8 docents!

I guess...I do know that there are lots of times I would rather be able to get dr 20-30 for a short time rather then a few more points of ac.
But you are right forged do need more docent love.

Just put on a shield and you'll be dealing more damage as a fighter or a paladin, have have about the same AC. :)

Just even bigger.

WF need the Unarmored Body Feat to way anything like Clothing or Armor (Robes included)

Oh, ok, I was just asking. Maybe that unarmed feat could be added.
