Another Newb Quick Q: Balance, How Much?

Messing with the character planner, and was wondering.
How many much balance do I really need around what levels to avoid being stuck on the ground?

I find a +16-20 balance to be sufficient pretty much all the time. That's counting dexterity bonus and items/buffs etc.

You'll need about a 30 for Titan the titan raid though.

I would think the "balance" thing is very class specific.

A melee character would need it far more than a caster, for obvious reasons.

good call drider, his hammer pound thing is nasty now. Still, mid-teens is fine, so long as you can throw on a +13ish item for specific spots like that... they are few.

I am playing a Monk, so yea, I guess I'll get it to around 20, and keep a +10 balance item ready. Thanks!

I find 10-15 to be enough in general, as long as you keep an item around when you really need a boost.

I keep my balance as high as possible on all my characters. ( I don't like being on the ground.) My Wiz 14/ Rogue 2 is pushing 30+ for example.
