So what everyone else think. Should the runes be removed from the chest. Or should the devs maybe make the usefull by let us craft green steel handwraps and greensteel armor from them?

Eventually. For the time being you'll still see them, but they aren't hurting your looting - the tokens drop in addition to your normal loot pulls, not in place of :) but no, we don't intend to keep the unlock event tokens in there forever
That aside I'd like to see the tokens be used in crafting some armors/docents from them.

I believe the runes should be used for SOMETHING

Either way it would be nice to know NOW so I can either loot them or leave them in the chests.

There's been a Dev postings (not gona look the quote up up) stating...
1. The tokens will be removed
and
2. They don't affect your loot.

They were just to open up those "tent ruins" quests, right?

You're seriously complaining about the runes? Just ignore them...

I'd like a use for them to be put in.
Either something significant (turn in 60 for a major reward like a piece of raid loot), or something minor (like making them be accepted by the person that collects Planar Shards)

Hum no where do i complain about the ruins. I simply ask if everyone thinks they should just be removed. or maybe made usefully for something like crafting or a turn in.
