According Codog's public profile (http://forums.ddo.com/member.php?u=7006), he hasn't been online since June 9th. Has our precious Codog left the building, or merely taking an extended vacation after Mod 7's release?

He hasn't gone anywhere...except maybe crazy >> just kidding.
Codog has been very hard at work lately. Once in a while I throw something at him to make sure he's still alive. As long as I get a grumble, I go back about my business with the knowledge that he's still alive, kicking, and working. :D

That's good to hear. I was getting worried since he hasn't been active on the forums, especially considering how much he used to be posting.

I thought they had perfected the hydrogen cell battery for use in electric vehicles.
Or was it that they have succeeded in creating the first working cold fusion nuclear reactor?

Can somebody tell Tolero to stop throwing stuff at me? I wonder what that is all about.
Sorry for making anybody worry that I'm not around anymore. The monk was a super intense quantity of work for me, and we started into the next module planning and development before I was done with fixes for the first patch. To be honest, I needed a bit of time away from the forums while talk about the monk settled down a bit. It is particularly difficult to read criticism over something that takes that kind of effort and passion to complete.
It was really exciting, fun, and challenging to bring you the monk. It was a total team effort to make it possible and I'm pleased to say that this module was the best cooperation I've seen our team exhibit yet.
I need to go catch up on the Dog House.
Best wishes everybody!

You cant please all of the people all of the time. I think the way to judge the monk is by their shear numbers in stormreach. They are everywhere! So much so that i beleive the cleric class went extinct! The monk is an excellent class and it is good to see so many variaties of them. I can only imagine the amount of time and energy that was required to develope. Were they perfect? No, but what is. IMO Two tumbs up!

This is good news. He seems like a good guy. Although programmers are a different breed, it took this one programmers 3 months to say hello to me one this on job I had. After that, he wouldn't stop talking. LoL

I think we all get panicky when a dev stops talking because we've seen devs/CS/community relations people be extremely active on the forums for a few months...and then with no announcement or words of goodbye (putting goodbyes in a sig line is very unhelpful to those of us who keep sigs and avatars turned off), they are just MIA for a while.
Then someone stumbles across (or stalks...one of the two :D ) that former Turbine employee's LinkedIn profile where it refers to them as a former Turbine employee.
Just off the top of my head, I can think of at least 3 examples of this happening in just under 2 years (Eckelberry left sometime after GenCon 2006, Heather disappeared after the enhancement upgrade, and Q just put some comments in his sig and disappeared). There may be more that I'm forgetting.
But these things just serve to make us cagey when a chatty dev becomes less than chatty for a few weeks. :)
Glad you haven't gone anywhere. We like chatty devs (even when we harrass them). :D

It's people. Soylent Green is made out of people. They're making our food out of people. Next thing they'll be breeding us like cattle for food. You've gotta tell them. You've gotta tell them!
